This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application PhotoClean: EXIF Remover, published under the developer display name SensorLinQ Apps.

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoClean: EXIF Remover handles photos, captured images, metadata, advertising, purchases, consent choices, third-party services, and user data.
1. App purpose
PhotoClean: EXIF Remover is designed to help users detect, view, and remove metadata from photos.
Photo metadata may include EXIF metadata such as camera information, timestamps, image dimensions, orientation, and GPS/location metadata if that information is present in the selected image.
The app allows users to create cleaned versions of photos with metadata removed according to the options selected by the user.
2. Photo selection
PhotoClean: EXIF Remover allows users to select photos from their device.
Photo access is used only for the functionality requested by the user, such as:
Selecting a photo
Detecting photo metadata
Showing metadata information
Removing metadata
Saving or exporting a cleaned version of the photo
The app does not automatically scan the user’s full photo library.
The app only processes photos selected by the user.
Current app feature data-handling context
PhotoClean may be used before sharing, uploading, sending, archiving, or posting photos online.
Current app features may include reviewing detected metadata, resize and compress options, batch photo cleaning, custom presets, advanced supported EXIF removal, and direct sharing. These features process selected photos on the user's device as part of the photo cleaning workflow.
Detected metadata may include camera model, device details, timestamps, image dimensions, software/editor information, GPS location data, geotags, and other supported EXIF metadata where present in the selected photo.
When PhotoClean saves a cleaned copy, the original photo remains unchanged unless the user separately changes or deletes it outside the app.
SensorLinQ Apps does not upload user photos to its own servers.
3. Camera capture
PhotoClean: EXIF Remover also includes direct photo capture using the device camera.
Direct photo capture is a Pro-only feature.
Camera access is used only when the user chooses to take a photo inside the app. Captured images are processed locally on the user’s device.
SensorLinQ Apps does not upload, store, or process captured images on its own servers.
4. Local photo and metadata processing
Selected photos and captured images are processed locally on the user’s device.
SensorLinQ Apps does not upload, store, or process users’ photos on its own servers.
The app may read metadata from selected or captured images, including:
Camera details
Device details
Date and time information
Image dimensions
Image orientation
Lens information
GPS/location metadata, if present in the image
Other technical EXIF or image metadata fields contained in the image
This metadata is used only to detect, display, and remove metadata as part of the app’s photo cleaning functionality.
When the user saves or exports a cleaned image, the app creates a cleaned version of the image according to the options selected by the user.
5. GPS and location metadata
Some photos may contain GPS/location metadata inside the image file. This can include information such as latitude, longitude, altitude, or other location-related EXIF fields.
PhotoClean: EXIF Remover may read and remove GPS/location metadata from selected or captured photos when requested by the user.
This location metadata is processed locally on the user’s device and is used only for metadata detection, viewing, and removal.
The app does not use photo GPS metadata to track the user’s real-time location.
